The American midwestern town of Casser—small, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Its residents usually enjoy a peaceful existence. But, a secret has been lying underneath everything—a secret that may prove fatal to many. Various people are being found mauled, seemingly by a wild animal. Those that manage to survive detail some kind of large, violent wolf. The possible existence of wolves in the nearby forest is shocking news to the townspeople, as there have been no sightings or reports prior to these incidents. What is going on exactly? Where did this wolf come from? And why does it seem to be specifically targeting human prey?
Two youths find themselves at the center of it all…
